Some Legal Advice
I recently read this article at ProZ called "EL LENGUAJE DE LA PERSUASIÓN EN EL DISCURSO JURÍDICO". Even if you do not read the article the whole way through, it is a valuable resource because of its references. There are many interesting translation and legal books listed. What I like the most about the article is that it focuses on legal language itself and the way it is written. Understanding the style and idiosyncracies of a given subject in both source and target languages makes it much easier for the translator to translate text as a general concept and not individual ideas.
